Curtis L. Thompson, is an award-winning engineer, technology strategist, and thought leader with a wealth of experience in various fields including data engineering, user interface engineering, data analytics, data visualization, information architecture, project management, and process management. He has a proven track record in helping organizations across multiple industries unlock the hidden potential of their data to drive business success.
In addition to his work as a technology strategist, Curtis is a tenured corporate engineering leader and a Faculty Associate Professor at Arizona State University, where he teaches courses on dark data, organizational leadership, and project management. He holds a master’s degree in information management from Arizona State University and a bachelor’s degree in computer information systems from Alabama State University. Curtis is also a Certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt and a Certified Project Management Professional.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Curtis is committed to mentoring young people and advocating for emerging leaders globally. He enjoys spending quality time with his family, playing chess, traveling, and staying active through exercise.
